Peru fresh asparagus exports nearly reach 100MM kilos

According to the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), from January to November 6 (up to week 45) Peru’s fresh asparagus exports reached 96,083,525 kilos, as reported by Agraria.
Fresh asparagus exports reached more than 45 countries around the world including the U.S., the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, among others.
Canned asparagus shipments, up to week 45, totaled 25,379,952 kilos. The destination markets of Spain, France, the U.S., Germany, among others, stood out.
